Paint preparation

The life of every paint and protective coating begins with the quality of the substrate. Aquablasting creates an evenly matted, clean surface with an ideal anchor profile — free of grease, rust and old coating — that guarantees perfect adhesion of the new layer. Water also washes away all salts and dust, a frequent cause of later corrosion under the paint.

Unlike dry blasting, no abrasive is embedded and no static dust remains, so you skip the tedious degreasing and dusting before spraying. Once dry, the part is ready immediately for primer or powder coating and the final finish lasts considerably longer.

Paint shops, powder-coating shops and restoration workshops use this service on body panels, rims, frames, steel structures, furniture and decorative components before spraying or powder coating.
