Everything you need to know about aquablasting

Aquablasting (wet blasting) is a surface-cleaning process that uses a mix of water and abrasive media. Unlike dry blasting, water prevents dust and cools the surface, avoiding material deformation. The result is a finer, more even finish.

Aquablasting suits a wide range of materials including steel, aluminium, brass, copper, cast iron and other metals. It is ideal for engine parts, gearboxes, bodywork, historic vehicles, industrial components and delicate parts.

Key benefits include: no dust or toxic emissions, a finer surface without damaging the material, no thermal deformation, the ability to clean delicate and precise parts, a greener process with recyclable water and media, and a safer working environment.

Our machines are designed for long-term industrial use. With proper maintenance and original spare parts, AQUABLASTING machines can reliably run for 15–20 years. We provide warranty and service support on all components.

Yes, with every machine we provide complete operator training on site. Training covers safety procedures, correct parameter settings, maintenance and troubleshooting. We also offer additional training and technical support.

Our machines support various abrasive media including glass beads, corundum grit, plastic granulate and more. The choice depends on the desired result and the material being cleaned. We are happy to advise on the optimal choice.

AQUABLASTING machines are designed for efficiency. Water circulates in a closed loop and can be reused. Media consumption depends on usage intensity, but thanks to recycling it is far lower than with traditional methods.
