Media makes the surface
The same machine can produce a matte satin or a finely textured finish depending on the media. The key is hardness, shape and grain size. Here is a quick orientation.
Glass beads
The most versatile choice. The rounded grain cleans gently and leaves a nice satin finish with no aggressive material removal. Ideal for aluminium, stainless and cosmetic work.
Corundum (aluminium oxide)
A sharp, hard grain. It quickly removes rust, old paint and scale. Suitable where you need power and surface preparation before coating.
Ceramic and plastic granulate
For specific applications — from deburring to cleaning delicate surfaces without touching dimensions. We will advise based on your material and desired result.
